Your wedding at the villa built for the Chigi

The cortile, the loggiato, the first-floor rooms and the park are reserved for you and your guests for the whole day.

The day

From getting ready in the morning to the dancing at night

    Getting ready

    You can get ready here, in one of the rooms with windows onto the garden, while we finish setting up and the first guests arrive along the drive.

    The ceremony

    In the cortile, surrounded by the two storeys of arches, or on the lawn in front of the villa, with the chairs in rows. Next to the villa stands the church of San Bartolomeo, founded by Sigismondo Chigi in the early sixteenth century: if you are thinking of a religious ceremony, we will tell you what is possible.

    The aperitivo

    On the gravel terrace in front of the façade, among the metal tables, or under the loggiato, which is covered.

    Dinner

    At a long table under the cedar, in the park, with the villa lit up in front of you. In winter, or in bad weather, we lay dinner on the first floor, in the gallery with the ochre vaults.

    The evening

    After dinner you can dance in the cortile or on the lawn.

The spaces

The floor plan, moment by moment

The numbers on the plan are our suggestion for each moment of the day. At the site visit we will decide everything together with you and with whoever is coordinating your wedding.

Ground floor and park

The arrangements

What you find at the villa, and what you decide yourselves

What you find

  • The whole villa for your wedding day, with no other event.
  • The spaces already furnished: the velvet sofas in the rooms, the armchairs under the loggiato, the metal tables on the terrace.
  • Our assistance with everything to do with the villa, from opening to closing: the setting up of the spaces, the lighting, sound and video.
  • The evening lighting of the windows, the loggiato and the cortile.
  • Parking for your guests, beyond the gate at the end of the drive.

What you decide

  • The catering, the flowers and the music. We will gladly introduce you to the suppliers we usually work with, and if you already have your own in mind we will talk about them at the site visit.
  • The table: where to place it, how long it should be and how to lay it.
  • The timing of the day, with your wedding planner.

The coordination of the day (the timing, the suppliers and the running order) is not included in the hire of the villa: your wedding planner or someone you trust can take care of it, and we will work alongside them from the site visit onwards. If you do not have one yet, you can let us know when you write.
