A meeting, a conference, a dinner: in a villa built in 1505

Volte Alte is a villa built in 1505, surrounded by fields in the hills around Siena. Here you can present a company or a project to investors and partners, close the year with your clients over dinner, or bring your team together for a whole day.

We take care of the setting up and of the technical assistance for sound and video, and for the catering, the flowers and the music we work with suppliers we trust.

    The conference and the presentation

    We seat the audience in the cortile, with the chairs in rows under the two storeys of arches, and if it is cold or raining we move it to the first floor. Before your guests arrive we will test the sound and video with you.

    The meeting behind closed doors

    On the first floor, in a room with windows onto the garden, is the long table for a board meeting or a private meeting, and next door are the rooms with the velvet sofas for breaks and phone calls.

    The team away day

    A whole day at the villa, from the morning until the evening: the first-floor rooms for working, lunch under the cedar and, to finish, the gravel terrace.

    The company dinner

    For the Christmas dinner with clients and team, or after a conference, we lay the table in the first-floor gallery, under the ochre vaults, or in the room with the fire lit.

    In the gallery, under the loggiato or on the terrace in front of the façade, for a standing presentation.

The spaces of the event

The floor plan, format by format

The numbers on the plan show the spaces we suggest for each part of the event. At the site visit we will decide together where to seat the audience and where to serve lunch.

Ground floor and park

The arrangements

What you find at the villa, and what you bring yourselves

What you find

  • The spaces already furnished: the long table, the velvet sofas in the rooms, the armchairs under the loggiato, the tables on the terrace.
  • Our assistance with everything to do with the villa, from opening to closing: the setting up of the spaces, the lighting, sound and video.
  • The evening lighting of the windows, the loggiato and the cortile.
  • Parking for your guests, beyond the gate at the end of the drive.

What you bring

  • The catering, the flowers and the music. We will gladly introduce you to our suppliers, and if you already have your own we will talk about them at the site visit.
  • Your materials: the signs, the totems and the panels with your name. The walls and the stones are five centuries old, so we will show you where your materials can go.
  • The programme of the day, and whoever runs it.

The coordination of your event (the programme, the speakers and the suppliers you choose) is not included in the hire of the villa: you can handle it yourselves or entrust it to whoever is organising it for you. We look after the villa, and we will work with you from the site visit onwards.

Volte Alte is in the locations catalogue of the Toscana Film Commission, where the photographs of the villa are published.
